@SIMONsaysSUCKit @SeamusBlackley @ClubYeast@drserenalove Welcome to sourdough baking! The yeast recovered from Egyptian artifacts don't belong to us so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to provide a sample. I recommend staying with standard baking yeast or if you're feeling adventurous follow Seamus' thread on how to harvest wild yeast

I know Iβm late to the baking party but Iβm still excited about my first floating starter! All my other ones sank like rocks
@Chevalierkgb@Grady_Booch@ArvindLiv@SpaceX Nothing in that article says anything about that. If women on board were a ship-killing issue we would have been losing ships since the 70s

@bigdogdiggler@pacpgh @magpiekilljoy The key statement there is its so common that the use of the word needs to be limited to people displaying physical differences not just chromosomal ones. _because_ chromosomes not matching physical sex is so common
@anonymous_tami@pacpgh @magpiekilljoy Male xx and female xy without physical complications aren't uncommon in the general population. Which is why the Olympics stopped testing for it, using chromosome for sex determinization is useless when see doesn't come from the presence of a specific chromosome
@Schoolgrader1@CrazyFenaker@atrupar I'm sure you're an expert in how libel lawsuits work in other countries. People rarely sue over libel in the US and we just LOVE ourselves some lawsuits
