Does the 5d8 (6d8 v fiends and undead) smite maximum apply to crits? In other words if my paladin rolls a 20 and spends a level 4 slot, how many smite dice does she roll? 5d8 or 10d8? Had several villains oneshot by paladins with the latter reading @JeremyECrawford
