@jpolly22 Not sure Sharks are ready for winning yet and Helle is aging. Maybe if it was Helle and Morrisey for both Shark 1st round picks, next years 1st and Askarov. With Morrisey the Sharks would be closer to competing before Helle is 35.

@TomFornelli Actually a better idea would be that Canadians have to be on a Canadian team and Americans have to be on an American team. Euros can be on either. Every American team would be so bad if their talent is spread around and only the Canadian teams would ever win the Cup. Fact.

@HockeyVice_ I think Montreal would love to have McDavid but can afford to wait for him to be free in free agency. Then due to cap issues can maybe trade a few of those guys for high picks or younger players who haven’t made it to big contracts yet.

@PrimetimeSamWoo Don’t fool yourself. Canadian kids are very smart and can see where the money is. If not for that they would never leave the CHL to go to College in the USA. Why did it not happen like this in the past. Funny how it just started when the money arrived.

@b_acker70 This is a perfect example of how much more depth Canada has over the USA in hockey. Both teams are missing significant pieces due to Stanley Cup playoffs and guys injured or needing rest after the season. However what we are replacing those guys with are so much better.

@TopTierPucks Disagree. Lots of people recognized that there were some injuries they were dealing with and that they had not had much time off in last few years and looked tired. Honestly most of the complaints were about management and goaltending.

@FixUrBallMark I honestly don’t get the playing time thing. If you’re not enjoying yourself and want to go home so bad then why are you there. Yes we like a nice paced round but are you in a rush to get home for some reason. Is it the tongue lashing you get if the round is 15min longer.

@MichelleLA1981 Actually this has happened in Canada where we sung the American anthem. In this case it’s actually us singing in Buffalo as many of the fans are from Canada. When it happens here it’s us singing the American anthem. Very few Americans know our anthem but we know yours.
