@Brilliantcrank@tjcase LOL, it's not a commune, dammit! We moved here in early September, hot and humid was still a thing... but dissipated by October. It was uncomfortable, but more tolerable than we'd been led to expect. Fall and spring have been glorious.
@Brilliantcrank Serenbe does these things imperfectly, but is generally heading in a good direction. And weβve met some amazing wonderful people. Finally bonus, 20 min easy access to major international airport.
@Brilliantcrank Hmmm⦠well that would obviously depend on your priorities. Our recent big move was to https://t.co/ce1K0qcBli. The community prioritizes the arts, authentic community and connection, and sustainability.
@luxuryluke In general not really. Paper and cardboard get about 50% recycled. Plastics around 10-15% and I donβt think plastics recycling has ever been over 17%. You could make a strong argument that plastics recycling is a primarily marketing scheme to sell more plastic.
@WasatchSnow Hah. Technically this feels like confirmation bias from a self selecting sample. But I'm ok with "Let it snow... and snow... and snow!"
Just practicing my rhetoric for defunding pollsters in lieu of yesterday. π
@Brilliantcrank Prior comment aside, if I was going to revisit some Stephen King, I might opt for the 4,250 pages of the Dark Tower series instead. Go big or go home!
