Thinking about the Paul McNeil Jr situation.
He's got a million people in his ear right now, but you have to believe being from NC, that he understands that if he leaves for Baton Rouge, he'll be seen as a villain, and if he stays at NC State, he'll be a legend for life.
It's unfortunate, but that's kind of the reality. I mean, look at Julius Hodge. The guy almost left, came back, showed loyalty, and became a legendary figure forever in Raleigh.
McNeil has that chance.
If he stays, he likely breaks most of NC State's 3pt records. Still becomes a millionaire and still moves on to the NBA eventually.
When his career is done at 35 years old, he'll get to move back home, celebrated by everyone, with opportunities everywhere for the next 50 years of his life.
That's just how it works here. Hope he chooses wisely.

Given the grumbling about Quail Hollow and Valhalla, I'm wondering if the contraction of hosting opportunities for the US Open with anchor sites will open up possibilities for PGA Championship sites further down the US Open pecking order? @NoLayingUp@TronCarterNLU@DJPie

@PackInsider I’m much more frustrated this season with the offenses inability to recognize and hit Middlebrooks when he rolls to the basket when he screens above the break. Non-Parker guards don’t have the speed to get down hill and allow for the defense to recover too quickly.
@PackPride Can’t believe how lackadaisical the training staff was, eventually 1 person sauntering over while one of your players is clearly writhing in pain on the floor.
We'll always remember 2024. What an incredible year for Pinehurst.
To commemorate this great year on New Year's Eve, let's do a giveaway. Repost this for a chance for you and one guest to spend two nights at Pinehurst and play Pinehurst No. 2 - site of the 2024 U.S. Open - and Tom Doak's Pinehurst No. 10.
