@EMAWCaleb Exactly. Unfortunate thing is you’d have to have two 10-team divisions if you wanted a round robin, or you’d only play two teams from the other 8-team division every four years. It works, but it’s all a matter of what one would envision/define as “ideal”

@EMAWCaleb I personally favor the latter but it would be harder to move to. How do you break up and reform conferences, and who gets to decide in the first place? No home CFP games either.

The former is more achievable but you’re right back where you started with not playing everybody

@EMAWCaleb I think you could fix unbalanced schedules one of two ways:

4-team pods for the 16 team conferences. Build a schedule template. You’d still have holes and have to fix tie breakers

Have eight 10-team conferences. Round robin, CCG is the play-in to an 8-team playoff

- 7 gets the most weight because regardless of how well the staff could’ve possibly motivated them, basically nobody on the field acted like they wanted to be there until it was pretty much already too late

- Wells gets less blame, I think he’s been less influential than other things on the list. He’s been relatively avg with higher peaks and lower valleys
- I’m rating 1 and 2 equal because they’re correlated, and I’m giving some weight to the butterfly effect
