My honest take on @ProprXYZ last points distribution

Last Friday points distribution was a shock

A x2 points campaign earlier that week generated 150K$ in revenue in 24h

Great for the protocol, but it also caused 8.5M points to be distributed on Friday

For context: that’s 50% of all points emitted in the previous nine weeks combined

We went from 16.9M to 25.4M total points in a single drop

The team will make the decay more aggressive, reasonable, but check the numbers

Daily revenue dropped from 20K average to 13K saturday, 9K yesterday, and today around 5K for now

Community is talking through their wallets

Now the part that matters: what do we do with this information

On one hand, 8.5M points were emitted in a single week

On the other, the backlash is causing daily revenue to drop fast in the short term, which means next Friday emission will be significantly lower if this trend continues

If this dynamic holds for 3-4 more weeks combined with a more aggressive decay, the impact of week 10 could dilute significantly within the total campaign

Here is a hypothetical projection:

W10: 8.5M
W11: 1.4M (estimated)
W12: 2.4M (estimated)
W13: 2.8M (estimated)
W14: 2.8M (estimated)

Average across those 5 weeks: around 3.5M points

The 8.5M from Friday can’t be erased, but its relative weight could drop 60-70% if the rest of the campaign behaves this way

The tricky part: lower metrics mean lower FDV expectations and less chance of a good price per point

If revenue pumps, we get diluted, but if it drops, there is no bullish sentiment

I Know, is complicated

One more thing I didn’t love: last week I knew the airdrop date is flexible

Yes, Extended also delayed theirs by a couple months and nobody panicked, but hearing that from a two month old project hits different

What I’m doing:

Not buying any challenges this week

I'm not telling you to do the same, but I want to see how Friday distribution plays out before putting in more capital (1.540$ for now)

One more challenge won’t change my life when I’m already sitting on +85K total points

To farm or not to farm, thats the question

My take for now: wait without disconnecting

I'm well positioned, I dont like what happened, but I’’ not quitting over one unfortunate distribution in one specific week

What I will do is stay alert without taking action

Making a high-conviction decision with such a high opportunity cost based on one week of data would be rushed

I need to see how this evolves before making a real move
