Would be interested in "ETF Zoo's" take on recent happenings at Simplify Asset Management (manager changes with ETFs such as $CTA with Altis out, Mike Green and Paisley Nardini out; July 27 SEC order re: 1940 Act violations, etc.) @DaveNadig@JSeyff@sumitroy2@MurphyCinthia
@syouth1 Good article. Buying and holding individual TIPS in taxable accounts is kind of a hassle but the defined maturity/target duration ETFs like $IBIM from iShares are interesting. I’d like to see Vanguard launch a suite of these akin to the corporate bond ones they recently launched.
@choffstein Has Paisley Nardini left Simplify as well? It appears she was removed from a few Simplify funds, including CTA and CTAP, as a listed portfolio manager in early August. She was a frequent speaker for Simplify and some of these funds in particular.
@markcecchini CDs are also “no bueno” when you are caring for an elderly parent (say you have their POA for financial matters) or dealing with them post-death. Closing them, checks getting lost, signatures required. Nightmare.
“On behalf of the entire Notre Dame community, I want to express how incredibly proud we are of our football student-athletes for their accomplishments both on and off the field this season.
We are deeply grateful for the exceptional leadership of Vice President and Director of Athletics Pete Bevacqua, Head Coach Marcus Freeman, and the entire coaching staff.
Our pride stems not only from this team’s success on the field but from the values they embody: faith, perseverance, selflessness, and a steadfast commitment to the University."

@choffstein Doesn't $ALLW employ leverage to achieve exposure in excess of 100% as well? It is categorized by Morningstar as "US Fund Tactical Allocation". Why is it not "Multi-Asset Leveraged" like $RSST? @syouth1
Love his perspective-so challenging to pull yourself out of your daily grind to recognize this and remember it. Love that that he shared it-Great reminder for us all!
@NorthernTrust@FlexSharesETFs Such as: how does an investor's long-term, return experience investing in a lump sum in $TIPD compare to building one's own 30-year ladder of individual TIPS?
Distributing ladder TIPS ETFs (like $TIPD) look interesting, but it's hard to see how AUM will grow when the products are thinly marketed and it's difficult to get a response to questions to the fund company. @NorthernTrust@FlexSharesETFs
Interesting article @ElmWealth. I'm guessing "portable alpha" proponents would highlight that new(er) strategies leverage uncorrelated assets and that their cost of leverage is reasonable (close to the "safe asset return")? https://t.co/0k07erkSs9 @choffstein@CliffordAsness
@TaxAlphaInsider Good idea. Check out the Rational Reminder forum (hosted by the same podcast team). There are about a ba-jillion posts about these funds and AQR. @HML_Compounder
