Along with @franceonu and @USUN, the UK has secured the sanctioning of four RSF commanders under the @UN sanctions regime for Sudan.
@YvetteCooperMP has been clear: those responsible for violence and human rights abuses in Sudan must be held to account.
The @UN Security Council has condemned the ongoing violence in Sudan, including the RSF’s continued assault on the Kordofans region and the atrocities committed in El Fasher.
Abuses committed against Sudan’s civilians, including sexual violence, may constitute war crimes.

The world must not look away from Sudan. Thanks to @JamesKariuki_UN and @UKUN_NewYork for keeping a spotlight on the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
In Sudan, an entire generation is being robbed of its childhood.
Violations and abuses are rising: sexual violence, forced marriages, the recruitment and use of children by armed forces and groups, and the mass killing and displacement of children.
The world must not look away.
Disgraceful to see @WFP trucks hit by RSF drones in Sudan.
Civilians are starving. Aid workers and humanitarian operations bringing vital food should never be targeted.
Humanitarian workers must be protected and aid let in.
After witnessing the devastation in Sudan, we are determined to keep the world's attention on this crisis.
We will rally the international community in Berlin in April and will use our UN Security Council Presidency to demand aid access, accountability, and a ceasefire.
