Besides Penal Code section 507A (the new offence), good to mention Criminal Procedure Code section 98A "Protection Order in Cases of Stalking".

This can stop stalkers from contacting/coming near you WHILE investigations are ongoing.

@TehminaKaoosji Respectfully disagree. I doubt such a scene on TV would cause these stats to rise or fall. To correlate and say ‘this is why these stats exist, misses the target altogether.

That said, deciding to air such content during primetime in Ramadan, is just in bad taste.

Saya nampak ramai benar rakyat Malaysia keliru apa sebenarnya jaga SOP. Senarai kelakuan dibawah adalah TIDAK mengikut SOP:

1. Bersalaman. Mana boleh bersalam-salam. Peluk cium lagilah. Ini TIDAK memenuhi SOP kekalkan penjarakan fizikal > 1m.
