@Imfoolsgold @jreitter28 @nascarman_rr Yeah, very true. While Yates won 3 races in 2002, the 88 team’s 10th place points run was a struggle all year. Rudd won Sonoma but was mid pack most of the year. Admitting that any success 2003-2006 was a mirage is hard, but it really is true. Yates was done by 2006.

@BW_Channel23 Much respect. When kulwicki and Davey died, their numbers stayed on cars for weeks after the fact. Sad that we are already to the point that just two cars are still honoring KB, and one is his former ride.
