@veryhotsoup The original "ball don't lie." Any call - I always gave the other teams way. "I'm going to beat you in spite of your bullshit." Not sure where it came from but it's how I coach. Bad call at 1B. Hit a 2B next time. Bad foul call? We're hitting a 3 next time down the court.

The amount of time my friends and I spent down at the baseball field playing curb ball, wall ball, and of course wiffle ball is a direct correlation to my skills as a teenager. Little league/Travel ball games were great but there’s no way I could have been the same player going into highschool without those pick up games and reps. I owe a lot to those fields, the pick up games, and my friends for always being there.
