@benjamincowen And why precisely have you been wrong? Because I think you have been wrong for some time and just for luck to get away with that. Your model contains unreliable stuff.
@BullTheoryio No dangerous loop. It is a pendulum which Saylor rides. He just needs to be careful at both of its extremes bear bottom - bull top. Strategy is not more fragile with size either, because it sucks Bitcoin out of free market.
@Web3Marmot Saylor doing nothing is exactly the best Strategy. No need to rise dividends. STRC holders can’t send Strategy to bankruptcy. STRC can’t go to 0 either because is pays dividends from nominal 100$.
@saylor@Strategy Dear STRC investors. Strategy doing nothing is exactly what will save you. Once Bitcoin starts rising out of bear market, numbers will flip green again. You are selling STRC at a discount to people who can weather bear market. Please don’t do that,
@DavidSacks@fentasyl Short term there could be some damage to have cyber security expert available for everyone. Longer term however this equalizes for everyone and the opposite will happen. All software will have much better security from day 1. US gov is painicking.
@ctoLarsson There is a catch. Asia could afford to be selective, because no population decline back then. This has changed already. Thanks to humanoids, soon there will be no need for economic immigration. And refugees don’t need permanent residency. Do they ?
Hard to believe Bitcoin is treated by some people as risk on asset when it is secured by math and energy. It has no central authority. It cannot be printed or mined at will.
@willywoo People holding BTC in ETF/treasury are fundamentally different. They don’t need to make money on Bitcoin. They were convinced by their FA to hold it to preserve wealth. 4 year cycle importance is diminishing at same rate as new holders come in.
@elonmusk The system cannot be improved or there is low incentive for capable designers to come up with proposals. It is better to accelerate system’s crash. When that happens new system is much simpler to design and it is much easier to find public support for it too.
@pawelwargan Only system which can replace its elite in power including its ideology is sustainable. In that sense US is still superior to China. Re-election of Trump and his policies is evidence democracy can clean up itself. Once job done, there is no need for Mr. Trump.
@SpoxCHN_MaoNing Thanks to robots and AI, there will be abundance of goods and services. There is no need for coercion, communism, ethnical groups oppression, censorship, arm printing. There is no need to copy US. There is no need for CCP.
@benjamincowen This observation is irrelevant, when stocks felt for the reason like tariffs, which has no impact on Bitcoin. And is this observation even possible when this event never happened during Bitcoin existence?
@zerohedge Only a fool would not lie to save his life having the choice. Most of the aid to Ukraine was upfront announced and late. WIII has already started in 2014 by annexation of Crimea.
Strategy: Buy 40 SOL put contracts at a strike price of $80, stacking 20 contracts for a 1-month expiry and 20 contracts for a 14-day expiry.
Simulation: When the price of SOL drops to $10, the payoff at expiry would be: 40 × (80 − 10 − 1) × 10 = 40 × 690 = $27,600.
We are halfway through the bull market of 2024/2025. Are you thinking about buying Bitcoin? Are you concerned about "fat tail risk" and want protection from unlikely market events?
Consider hedging with put options. Hedge smartly.
- Sell contracts in profit if you believe the price won't fall further before expiry.
Bitcoin Portfolio Example:
Holding 1 BTC:
BTC/USD at $65,000
SOL/USD at $160
SOL put option premium: $1
