Heartbreaking news. Om was a brilliant, kind, generous man. He wrote marvelously. He loved tech but saw through nonsense. He had a great eye and a beautiful soul. RIP. https://t.co/MenmLt70ch
King Charles III’s closing remarks to a Joint Session of Congress: “The story of the United Kingdom and the United States is at its heart a story of reconciliation, renewal, and remarkable partnership. From the bitter divisions of 250 years ago, we forged a friendship that has grown into one of the most consequential alliances in human history. I pray with all my heart that our alliance will continue to defend our shared values, with our partners in Europe and the Commonwealth and across the world, and — [applause] — and that we ignore the clarion calls to become ever more inward looking. Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, distinguished ladies and gentlemen, America's words carry weight and meaning as they have since independence. The actions of this great nation matter even more. President Lincoln understood this so well with his reflection in the magisterial Gettysburg Address, that the world may little note what we say, but will never forget what we do. And so to the United States of America, on your 250th birthday, let our two countries rededicate ourselves to each other in the selfless service of our peoples and of all the peoples of the world. God bless the United States and God bless the United Kingdom.”

A logistics CEO is fighting back against the Great AI Scare of 2026.
Allow me to set the scene for you to provide some context.
It's Feb. 12, 2026. Some random Florida-based holding company called Algorhythm Holdings said it achieved a breakthrough on the AI front. It claimed that its AI platform scales freight volumes by 300% to 400% and reduces empty trucking miles by 70%.
No matter that nobody had heard of this company the day before. No matter that the company was better known for its karaoke machines and it was unclear when it pivoted to freight technology. No matter that the company is basically a penny stock that has no Wall Street analyst coverage, according to @YahooFinance data. The market moved first and asked questions later, sending shares of trucking and logistics companies sharply lower.
One company caught up in the selling frenzy was C.H. Robinson, founded in 1905 as a produce brokerage house. By the close of trading, the stock tumbled 14.5% — its largest one-day percentage loss in more than six years.
Its CEO responded to the sell-off for the first-time to me: 👇
C.H. Robinson has been recognized by @FortuneMagazine as one of the World’s #MostAdmiredCompanies. Having been on the list for over 10 years, we're honored to be ranked #1 in the trucking, transportation, and logistics industry yet again.

Bit of year end optimism from @johngapper British business has an opportunity to defy the gloom via @FT. Easy to get sucked into conventional doom wisdom, but that’s not where success lies.

🚚 The market loves putting money to work on AI stocks, that much has been made clear in the past two years.
But, the appetite to own AI plays is broadening out to more under the radar names, including those companies using the technology aggressively in the industrial sector. One of those companies is logistics giant @CHRobinson, led by one of the best CEOs you probably haven't heard of before (but should know him and will hear about him in this new podcast I am posting here): David Bozeman.
Bozeman has led the 120 year old logistics player for more than two years, after considerable stints in transportation operations at @amazon, @harleydavidson and @CaterpillarInc.
Since his arrival, C.H. Robinson has leaned hard into AI to drive improved operating profits. The company has delivered in a big way, sending the stock price up 55% in 2025.
In a new drop of my Opening Bid Unfiltered podcast on Yahoo Finance, Bozeman shares what’s next in the company’s tech driven overhaul, what the future of freight looks like and if the trade war stands to ultimately send the US economy into a ditch.
