The Ministry of Transport and Highways, the @DMTSrilanka with the support of @undp #lka conducted a pilot project to convert 200 4-stroke petrol three-wheelers to electric. The beneficiaries were all selected from #Colombo, while female owners, persons with disabilities, families that relied on the income from a single three-wheeler were given priority. This video takes a deep dive in to the specifications, capacity and features of the converted e-tuks.
