@Bigfanofamy1@liyanebedo07@StarshipSMT42@10prods@catholicpat You don't think the Americans having their 20 best golfers would give them a better shot at taking home multiple medals? I really don't understand how this is this difficult to grasp. Sure it's probably not an advantage in the 100m but there are plenty of events it would be.
@liyanebedo07@Bigfanofamy1@StarshipSMT42@10prods@catholicpat Not yours either apparently. You can't figure out how the US having 20 of their best athletes in every single event couldn't result in more medals. People get hurt, sick, don't perform well, could eliminate other countries' best athletes in prelim heats.
@ryankeepstryin@benbbaldwin@Timo_NFL You're the one that mentioned the red card being overturned when you said "weak calls can now be rescinded?". Ronaldo and the other punishments being delayed is the precedent now. No one wants players sitting out games due to weak reds that weren't yellows 30 years ago.
@ryankeepstryin@benbbaldwin@Timo_NFL Therefore the rules set in place were not followed. Fifa recognized this and made the correct decision. This should be the norm going forward. It's much better for the world cup to not have players being suspended over questionable calls no matter what team it is.
@ryankeepstryin@benbbaldwin@Timo_NFL You keep spewing the fact that "the rules weren't followed". Giving red cards based off of VAR is recent and doesn't have "decades of precedent" to follow. The rules also state that VAR review is not to use slow motion and still replays to determine the seriousness of a foul.
@ryankeepstryin@benbbaldwin@Timo_NFL No longer? They have been suspending red card suspensions or overturning them in every league in the world except the world cup. Ronaldo is the precedent here, stop acting like the US are the first team to ever have a red card suspension deferred. This is not new to football.
@ryankeepstryin@benbbaldwin@Timo_NFL Awful precedent is having a guy miss 1.5 games for accidentally stepping on someone's ankle. Imagine in Hutch got suspended for a playoff game because he accidentally tripped and fell into QB late. The rule is dumb and hopefully they do this more going forward for all players.
@secertman101 @FanaticColorado @getnickwright Y'all literally have an excuse for every single thing, it's actually hilarious. The chiefs have never played a game with anyone out, oh wait, just their #1 WR for most of the year and 2 of their best oline for the past 2 games...get a grip
