@LizDobsonUoH @wrabel I can really relate to this. For me the uni I work at was the last place I came out to - it’s not as if HEIs do nearly enough to support trans students and staff. For a long time I was worried about the repercussions of being out and visible

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

@amenbreakGF I think I know the two people this could possibly be if that helps, lol

Excited to switch it up and start making un-immersive art experiences, then years after my death have them represented in the form of this hellscape

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

@Nervoussystem91 This is a really exciting project! Also, the photography attached to it is great

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

If you ever wondered what my ‘day job’ looks like - I did the multichannel sound install, live engineering and multitrack recording for this last September - you can see me popping up in the background at various points!

@Nervoussystem91 No problem - feedback is a fun one philosophically, questions/answers are sometimes the same, simple and complex at the same time! If you have time, a zoom call might be a good way of clarifying/asking follow-ups if you have them too. Just don’t turn echo cancellation off ♾️

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

I have a few of these - the first one was something I’d often play at the slowest speed possible when I used to perform with turntables. Low frequency sine tone standing waves in the room, with the seashore audible in the spaces between

[Phantom Power, a pod about sound. @PhantomPod]

Hey, Mack here. I'm writing a thing on Syntonic Research Inc.'s ENVIRONMENTS series. Do any sound artists, field recordists, ambient musicians, etc have a comment?

Did these records influence you at all--positively or negatively?

(Thank you--and please retweet!)

@free_musick The DSFL classic was asking for side stage/drum fills that were many times bigger than the FOH

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

Absolutely not giving any of my 2016 last dash attempt at being cis to the dataset

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

@free_musick I did the sound for this show, it was banging

As the far-right Israeli government continues its illegal annexation of the West Bank, Germany’s @team_luftwaffe announced its participation in official celebrations of Israel’s 75th anniversary - the Palestinian Nakba - tweeting a video of German + Israeli jets flying together

[Reid Dudley Peirson @rdudleypeirson]

@amenbreakGF Territorial Gobbing and Mika Miko, next time just @ me

Today @forensicarchi and @counterinv launch our latest investigation in collaboration with @refocusmedialab, reconstructing the September 2020 fire which destroyed the refugee camp of Moria in Lesvos, Greece:

Wondered when that 2019 SSW Warthog show would finally surface

[Urban Pictures @Urban_Pictures]

Brutal end to Atherstone Ball Game 2023. The last half an hour of the Pancake Day tradition saw punches thrown & a betting shop damaged as teams battled to gain control of an oversized ball.

Academics retweeting #ucuRISING and also crossing the picket line as an HPL: You must be exhausted from the ever increasing workloads as well as not being able to sleep at night
