Three Brazilian sisters with a combined age of 316 are now the focus of a research project which aims to understand why some people stay physically and cognitively resilient well past the age of 100 https://t.co/xG4nl22Jnd
A Stanford neuroscientist warns high cortisol wrecks memory, enlarges your fear center, and make your brain feel broken.
If I wanted to fix it naturally, I'd do these 8 things every day:
1. Walk barefoot on grass for 5–7 minutes.
IRANIAN PRESIDENT: “If we did not have our defensive missiles, Israel and America would have plowed through Iran the way Gaza was plowed through, showing no mercy to the old or the young. They speak of human rights. It is a great lie.”
It’s a hard truth to hear, but it’s true.
Ronaldo spots Moutinho hiding from the penalty… drags him out and says “ João, you hit them better! If we lose, so be it.”
Moutinho steps up and scores.
That’s why he’s the GOAT captain and a Born Leader 🇵🇹 🐐
🚨Kylian Mbappé watching Messi score again and become the all-time World Cup top scorer:
“I was preparing to play later thinking I could get closer to the record… then I looked at my phone and saw Messi had scored again. At this point, it feels like he is not competing with players anymore, he is competing with time itself.
Every time the world thinks he has reached the final chapter, he opens another one. Records, pressure, age, history — nothing seems to touch him.
You don’t chase Messi. You just hope football gives you enough years to understand what he was.”
This story from Jantar Mantar is both heartbreaking and incredibly inspiring. A 13-year-old boy from Odisha has become the only parent and caregiver for his seriously ill mother, who is battling lung cancer and kidney failure. She has to carry her urine bag with her everywhere as they face this painful daily reality together.
Yet this brave young boy and his ailing mother refused to let their circumstances hold them back. They travelled by train all the way from Odisha to Delhi to stand at Jantar Mantar, braving the intense heat and oppressive humidity of the capital, all for the sake of lakhs of students.
Their quiet determination and strength in the face of such overwhelming personal hardship is truly remarkable. A child should never have to carry this kind of burden, but their resilience shines through.
Sending strength, love, and prayers to this extraordinary mother-son duo. You both deserve so much support and relief.
Stay strong 🙏❤️

Lionel Messi on the 100-year-old fan holding the “100 YEAR OLD MESSI FAN” banner:
🗣️ “When I saw her in the stands… I honestly had to hold myself together. In that moment, football disappeared for me. It wasn’t a stadium anymore, it wasn’t noise, it wasn’t pressure it was just emotion.”
“Someone who has lived a whole century of life… through wars, through generations, through everything the world has endured… and she is still here, smiling, holding my name in her hands. I don’t even know how to explain what that feels like.”
“It made me think about everything my first steps in football, the dreams I had as a child, the sacrifices my family made… and somehow, through all those years, my name reached someone like her. It’s overwhelming.”
“I don’t deserve something like that. No player does. Because this goes beyond football. This is love from a lifetime, not just a moment.”
“I looked at her and I just wanted to stop time for a second… to say thank you properly. Not as a footballer, but as a human being who understands how rare it is to be loved like that for so long.”
“There are goals that make noise, trophies that make headlines, but this… this was something completely different. Pure, unconditional connection between two lives that were never meant to meet, but somehow did through football.”
“If I could give her anything, it wouldn’t be a shirt or a photo. It would be time. Because the fact she spent part of her life supporting me… I will carry that forever.”
“When I retire, I will remember nights like this more than anything else. Because at the end of everything, football is not about records… it is about hearts that connect without even speaking.”
“And in that moment, I realized something very simple… I am not just playing for trophies. I am playing for people like her.”
🚨Kylian Mbappé was asked who the greatest footballer in history is between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi:
🎙️ Reporter: “Kylian, when people debate the greatest player of all time, where do you stand?”
🗣️ [Smiles] “I always try to avoid these questions because, honestly, we are talking about two players who changed football forever.
“I have huge respect for both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. They have dominated the game for nearly two decades and achieved things that many people thought were impossible.
“But if I have to choose one, I would say Cristiano Ronaldo.
“It’s not only about the trophies, the goals or the records — it’s about the journey.
“He succeeded in different leagues, different countries and different teams. He won everywhere he went and adapted to every challenge.
“What has always inspired me most is his mentality. His discipline, his work ethic and his desire to improve every single day are unmatched.
“He showed the world that talent is important, but mentality and hard work can take you even further.
“For young players, Cristiano proved that there are no limits if you are willing to sacrifice and push yourself every day.
“That is why, for me, he is the greatest.

🎙️ Zlatan Ibrahimović, Arjantin’in Avusturya galibiyetinin ardından Lionel Messi’nin etkisi hakkında:
“Messi’yi izlemeye takıntılıyım.
Bunun nedeni arkadaşım olması değil.
Nostalji de değil.
Çünkü bunca yılın ardından hâlâ bir futbolcunun, topa her dakika dokunmadan bir maçı nasıl kontrol edebildiğini anlamaya çalışıyorum.
Bugün Arjantin’i izledim ve dikkatimi çeken ilk şey skor olmadı.
O, Arjantin’in sistemi.
O, onların özgüveni.
O, onların inancı.
Takım arkadaşlarının sahaya çıkarken imkânsızın mümkün olduğuna inanmasının sebebi o.
İnsanlar bana sürekli ‘GOAT’ tartışmasını soruyor.
Hangi tartışma?
Cidden.
Ayatollah Guys Are C'razy!
In spite of the fact that Dr. Abbas Araghchi (Iran's Foreign Minister) bagged his Ph.D at the University of Kent, UK, and speaks English fluently, throughout the negotiation process, he did not speak English.
He spoke Farsi (Iran's official language) in the presence of the Vice President of America, JD Vance. Other members of the Iranian delegation spoke Farsi, as well. They didn't speak English. 😆
They deliberately stuck to their language in order to assert their national identity. JD Vance was so jittery on sighting Ghalibaf and Araghchi. The fear was boldly written on him.
You can go and watch it on Al-Jazeera. I wish our leaders could be 10% as bold as the Iranians. I always feel impressed with their dispositions. People wey no fear America 🤣
