This story from Jantar Mantar is both heartbreaking and incredibly inspiring. A 13-year-old boy from Odisha has become the only parent and caregiver for his seriously ill mother, who is battling lung cancer and kidney failure. She has to carry her urine bag with her everywhere as they face this painful daily reality together.
Yet this brave young boy and his ailing mother refused to let their circumstances hold them back. They travelled by train all the way from Odisha to Delhi to stand at Jantar Mantar, braving the intense heat and oppressive humidity of the capital, all for the sake of lakhs of students.
Their quiet determination and strength in the face of such overwhelming personal hardship is truly remarkable. A child should never have to carry this kind of burden, but their resilience shines through.
Sending strength, love, and prayers to this extraordinary mother-son duo. You both deserve so much support and relief.

He spoke Farsi (Iran's official language) in the presence of the Vice President of America, JD Vance. Other members of the Iranian delegation spoke Farsi, as well. They didn't speak English. 😆

They deliberately stuck to their language in order to assert their national identity. JD Vance was so jittery on sighting Ghalibaf and Araghchi. The fear was boldly written on him.

You can go and watch it on Al-Jazeera. I wish our leaders could be 10% as bold as the Iranians. I always feel impressed with their dispositions. People wey no fear America 🤣
