Watch: A significant contribution to South African literature. Miss South Africa 2025, Qhawekazi Mazaleni @QMazaleni36754, has published a children's book written entirely in isiXhosa. This achievement underscores her commitment to the preservation of indigenous languages.
[ON AIR] As South Africa marks Youth Month, we celebrate young people who are doing more than dreaming about the future—they're creating it.
One such trailblazer is Naledi Setzin, a young South African author whose journey reflects the creativity, resilience, and determination that define a new generation of changemakers. #Quantum with

📖📺: 50 Years of TV in South Africa🇿🇦
Thrilled to announce my debut book chapter.
The chapter looks at how TV has shaped public consciousness in post-apartheid South Africa, not just as entertainment, but as a powerful tool for dialogue, education, and social change. Using Yizo Yizo, Soul City, and Emzini Wezinsizwa, I explore how storytelling on screen helped raise awareness and influence public debate.
Grateful to be part of this important contribution to South African media scholarship.

My chapter is a labour of love and passion: a love for our culture and television, and a deep passion for expanding scholarship within South African TV and media studies.
On this #MothersDay we honour the mothers by birth, by choice & by spirit, you are the quiet strength behind loud victories. The unseen light behind dreams brought to life.
Your love is not just spoken; it’s lived.
May your day be filled with the same grace you give so freely.
With this book, I hope to reclaim the word mad which has been used to dismiss women for many generations. I hope to turn it from a label to a question.
I wrote a book about a woman in her 30s dealing with breast cancer and navigating changes in her perspective on life and family.
