Back in 2018, there was a Gujarati guy sitting beside us in our flight, was settled in Kenya and was going to India for some function (we had a casual small talk about layovers and all).

I and wife preferred lamb curry in flight. When our food arrived, he didn't say anything, he just turned his face towards the window, didn't eat his food, didn't talk to us again in a 6 hours of flight. Wife felt bad, had he been vocal, she might not order the non veg. But, I would still have! The world doesn't revolve around veg or vegan people.

I've never understood why Gujarath doesn't seem to have a famous seafood cuisine.
