@inkupmarkout @memories_child I'm sure some of my stuffier colleagues disapprove, but on the whole it helps to form bonds with students. I'm quite certain tattoos don't make me appear 'cool', but I think they do make me appear more approachable.

I don't know if it would jeopardise my chances in an interview for a junior academic post, but I have a permanent contract at a more senior level Associate Prof) AND I CAN DO WHAT THE HELL I WANT.
