Chatted with some 30ish Gwitchin & Inuvialuit men during golf, made a casual joke of Indigenous people playing golf and Oka. They had no idea what that was. I realize Oka was an eastern thing from the last century but it always seemed to be a seminal thing in Canadian FN culture.
