Lio co-founder and CEO Vlad Keil on the KPI for the company's forward-deployed engineers: automate your own job, then move to the next one.
"When you look at the org structure of Lio, 85% of the people are engineers."
"And even the people who don't have an engineering title mostly have an engineering background. The reason for that is we don't want to be a consulting company."
"There is a lot of forward-deployed work to do if you go to enterprises because they have different nuances in their processes. But how we work is... building a product in a way where we're reducing this customization, but also where it's a lot of self-service."
"The job of our FDEs is on the one hand making it self-service, but internally it's automating their own job. Their KPI is... literally your job is to automate yourself. And then if you automate yourself, you go to the next task."

The @DeptofWar today announced the appointment of Mr. Gavin Kliger (@gavin_kliger) as Chief Data Officer, a role that places him at the center of the Department’s most ambitious AI efforts.
"We are in a global competition for military AI dominance, and America must build on its leadership to extend our advantage over adversaries," said Kliger. "My mission is to integrate the unparalleled innovation of America’s private sector with the Department’s operational expertise to rapidly deliver advanced AI capabilities to our warfighters. By driving pace-setting projects with wartime urgency, we will ensure cutting-edge technology translates into decisive battlefield advantages for the United States."
Mr. Kliger will be a key leader in executing the Department's AI strategy. He will focus on the day-to-day alignment and execution of the Department’s AI projects, working directly with America's frontier AI labs to support the warfighter. His oversight will ensure these projects maintain strategic focus, secure critical data access, and deliver transformative capabilities at record speed.
His background includes service on Secretary Hegseth’s @DOGE_DOW team, where he oversaw the launch of https://t.co/fb2dtG0gGM, the Department’s official enterprise AI platform. He also contributed to the Drone Dominance program; an effort focused on rapidly fielding large quantities of American-made, one-way attack drones to the warfighter. Before entering public service, he was a senior member of technical staff at Databricks.
The FBI is investigating the source of funding for organized lawlessness. In California, we know it comes from the state itself. $34 million was given to the nonprofit "CHIRLA" before the LA riots.
My bill, the No Tax Dollars for Riots Act, has been endorsed by President Trump.
In February 1984, astronaut Dale Gardner carried out one of the most audacious recoveries ever attempted in orbit, during NASA’s STS-51-A mission aboard Space Shuttle Discovery.
The target was Westar VI, a communications satellite that had failed to reach its proper orbit and was left slowly tumbling, useless, above Earth. Rather than abandon the spacecraft, NASA approved a daring plan: retrieve it by hand.
Gardner relied on the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU)—a nitrogen-thruster backpack that allowed astronauts to fly freely in space without a tether. Leaving the safety of the shuttle, he maneuvered across open vacuum, stabilizing himself entirely through controlled bursts of thrust. There was no physical connection to the spacecraft behind him—only precision, training, and calm judgment.
Approaching the spinning satellite, Gardner executed a carefully rehearsed sequence, attaching a custom-built capture device to Westar VI. Once secured, he guided the satellite back to Discovery’s payload bay, where it was locked in place for return to Earth and refurbishment.
The operation was a landmark moment in human spaceflight. It demonstrated that astronauts could perform complex, delicate tasks while flying untethered—an extraordinary display of control in one of the most unforgiving environments imaginable. Though the MMU was later retired, the mission remains a defining example of human ingenuity and confidence beyond Earth.
President @realDonaldTrump and @SecScottBessent, and @pulte, I have a simple idea on how to lower mortgage rates and spreads:
One of the unique features of U.S. conventional mortgages is that they are prepayable at any time without a penalty.
While this feature is attractive for homeowners, it comes at a significant cost as buyers of mortgage backed securities (‘MBS’) require a significant increase in spread to compensate them for giving the borrower the option to prepay at anytime.
Why don’t Fannie and Freddie also offer non-prepayable mortgages where if the borrower wishes to prepay the loan, he would have to pay a prepayment penalty?
I asked one of my friends who is an expert and large investor in MBS what the estimated savings today would be on a 30-year Fannie/Freddie mortgage if the borrower would be locked out from prepayment other than by paying a penalty?
He estimated that the savings would be about 65 basis points.
So a borrower could have a choice:
Obtain a 30-year prepayable mortgage at today’s ~6% rate,
or at a 5.35% rate, but with the obligation to pay a prepayment penalty if he/she refinanced in the future.
The loan could also be made to be portable so that if the home is sold, the new borrower could assume the loan and no prepayment penalty would be owed on a sale.
While the ability to prepay is a valuable option, locking in the 65 bps savings upfront over the life of the mortgage may be the difference between the borrower being able to afford the home and not being able to.
You could imagine that there could be different versions of this product where the lock out would be for 5 years, 10 years etc. (with different levels of savings for each, the longer the lockout, the greater the savings) and the borrower could custom design the mortgage and its prepayability to meet their life plan.
As you know, commercial mortgages work this way.
Why couldn’t the same approach be used for home loans?
@SteveHiltonx as someone who has dedicated much of his life to service and leadership it sickened me to see first responders sitting in their trucks frozen by the incompetence of their leaders @KarenBassLA@GavinNewsom@CAgovernor watching the Palisades burn around them unable or unwilling to do anything about it. California deserves better leadership and better outcomes. All of this destruction could have been prevented. I flew the fire drop mission as an aviator in the Navy and am @CALFIRESANDIEGO trained. Have your team DM me to discuss how to make sure this never happens again.

this is shocking:
> US collects $2.4T in income tax, but spends $1.5T on fraud
> if we didn't have to pay for fraud, only $900b would need to be collected
> this means anyone with less 500k in income could pay *literally $0* in income tax
we don't need to raise taxes. we need to cut fraud
Let’s be to be honest California about where we are — and where we’re headed.
Families across Southern California are being squeezed from every direction.
The cost of living keeps climbing.
Friends, neighbors, and even our kids are being forced to leave the communities they grew up in.
And instead of relief, we keep getting more government nonsense — rising costs for families from skyrocketing home insurance bills, energy costs out of control, and policies and laws, that make everyday life harder instead of easier.
That’s not inevitable.
And it doesn’t have to be our future.
One party Democratic rule by a small group of politicians focused on themselves versus the people they are supposed to serve, allowing corruption to happen behind closed doors has to end
We need to vote for change in 2026
Help us get the word out
Nick Shirley, one of the youngest independent journalists, did what CNN, MSNBC, and Fox — billion-dollar networks — failed to do combined. And he broke the story on X.
On December 26, 2025, 23-year-old independent journalist Nick Shirley went viral on X (formerly Twitter) for an investigative report alleging massive fraud in Minnesota's daycare and welfare systems.
According to his reporting:
•The Findings: Shirley visited several childcare centers in Minneapolis that were reportedly receiving millions in state funds but appeared empty or inactive during operating hours.
•Quality Learning Center: The most prominent example was the "Quality Learning Center," which had received approximately $1.9 millionin FY 2025 (and roughly $4 million over a broader period) despite Shirley observing zero children on-site. He noted a sign for the center even had the word "Learning" misspelled as "Learing".
•Scale of Allegations: Shirley claimed his team uncovered evidence of over $110 million in fraud in a single day, framing it as part of a larger multi-billion-dollar scandal involving Minnesota's social services and the Somali community.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
"I HAVE JUST GOTTEN THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS OF MY “POLITICAL CAREER.” While my great work on the Economy has not yet been fully appreciated, it will be! Things are really Rockin’. Stopping WARS and Foreign Relations seems to be a strong suit. Also great, The Border and Stopping Crime. I predict that the Economy, with the already HIGHEST STOCK MARKET, EVER, and prices coming sharply down from the Biden disaster, will soon be at the top of the list.
