@alexlindsay I am creating screencasts on my local machine, MacBook Pro. Recording my screen and audio which may last an hour or more. After the recording is finished I will use handbrake to make the file smaller then share the file to workmates via Google Drive.

@alexlindsay Yeah, good question. Maybe, I wasn’t thinking it through completely. And I have that situation as well but do not want to take the time to edit. I tend to go on and on, but learning to make topics to discuss rather than jumping around. I’ll check out Compressor, though. Thanks

@alexlindsay Thanks. I heard you mention on MacBreak Weekly a few weeks back about using some AWS service. I was thinking along the lines of using a different piece of hardware or server to compress rather than on the MacBook itself as the fans and temp are already high enough the way
