Yeah, like a sewer.
Finland had to send the russians millions of euros to get them to build some kind of sewer treatment system, instead of them being spiritually Indian and just dumping raw sewage straight into the Gulf of Finland
Even if McMorrow drops out, I don't see Abdul losing if he's truly posting dictator margins among voters under 45.
Between Talarico, Platner, and El-Sayed...Dems are just shooting themselves in the foot.
Their best "gets" (aside from Cooper) are in Alaska and Ohio--both of whom (a) are not favored and (b) lost as incumbents in 2024.
THE LEAK IN AXIOS WAS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AND PROVIDED SUPPORT TO THE IRANIAN REGIME AND ITS HEZBOLLAH PROXY
Whomever leaked that story to Barack Ravid at Axios did a grave disservice to our country, to our president, to Israel, and to Israel's prime minister. The Iranian regime will benefit from that leak, viewing us as weak and desperate for a deal -- even coming to Hezbollah's defense. The Israeli people will also be furious. The missiles are aimed at them, not Washington. And for 100 other reasons, what was thought to be a devasting political hit on Netanyahu by the leakers about a private call between heads of state has done much damage to us and our military and our diplomatic strategy. And if the leakers or others believe Israel should abandon its survival for some deal, they will have a very hard lesson to learn. If the substance of the call is accurate, it is bad enough in my view.
Will there be an FBI investigation to determine who leaked? If not, why not?
White births up from 47.8% under Biden to 51.2% under Trump.
If negative net migration continues, White Americans will never become a minority.
And given that leftists aren’t having many kids, our country is going to get a lot more right wing in 20-30 years time.
Putin's renewed attacks on Ukraine are initiating a fresh round of hand-wringing over what to do next. But the answer is pretty simple: Ukrainian victory.
Everyone is panicking about @RestoreBritain_ splitting @reformparty_uk vote and allowing Burnham to win.
The panic is misplaced.
The worst political outcome would be Restore stepping aside to allow Reform a victory.
With its current direction of travel, Reform offers the country no redemption. By stepping aside, Restore would concrete in Reform’s hopelessness.
Restore must fight this election and do the best it can. If it were to gain 7% of the vote, as predicted, that would send an earth quake through Reform.
Reform might then correct its ways.
A Burnham victory makes not a blind bit of difference to the country. Labour has a 156 seat majority. Whether Burnham or some other idiot from Labour becomes PM makes no difference.
And for those worried about an early general election - turkeys do not vote for Christmas. It is not happening.
Restore and Rebecca Shepherd must fight this by election tooth and nail.
I know @_AdvanceUK supporters are already in Makerfield campaigning on their behalf. I will help where I can.
Sen. Kennedy: Is Russia our friend?
Gen. Smith: Sir, they're not.
Sen. Kennedy: Between Ukraine and Russia, who do we want to win that war?
Gen. Smith: Obviously, we want Ukraine to stand independently and not be consumed by Russia.
Sen. Kennedy: When Putin went into Ukraine, he thought he was going to roll in and take it over in two days like thunder on a summer night, didn't he?
Gen. Smith: I believe he did.
Sen. Kennedy: But Ukrainian people have fought back, haven't they?
Gen. Smith: Yes, sir, they've fought back.
Sen. Kennedy: And they now have some of the most sophisticated drone technology in the history of the world, don't they?
Gen. Smith: Sir, they do. They're doing very well with drones.
Sen. Kennedy: And with limited resources they have, they're giving Russia curb-stomping, aren't they?
Gen. Smith: I would say they are.
Sen. Kennedy: In fact, with their limited resources, they've knocked out 40% of Russia's oil export capacity. Since January, using their drones and limited cruise missiles, they've hit oil and gas facilities within Russia over 100 times. Not on the border, within Russia. Right?
Gen. Smith: Yes, sir.
Sen. Kennedy: And Putin was so scared, he almost had to cancel Russia's military parade, didn't he?
Gen. Smith: I will take your word for that, sir.
Sen. Kennedy: Okay.
@PunishedRWR And PS has been enthusiastically on board as it's a right-wing party economically. But seems like many of their voters have been more economically populistic and have dumped the party because of it. They've probably mostly moved to non-voters and SDP.
@PunishedRWR It's about austerity. If PS was S&C, its popularity would be exactly the same. Unlike in Sweden, our public finances are very unbalanced. Orpo government has cut in a way not seen in decades, Kristersson hasn't had to do anything similar.
