Intune check-ins just got a serious upgrade.

At the Microsoft Technical Takeoff, Microsoft discussed the Declared Configuration Protocol (Windows DC) to shift away from the traditional OMA-DM sync model.

-No more waiting for long sync cycles
-No more hoping settings stick
-Devices proactively maintain their desired state
-Faster reporting! We all love faster reporting, right?

Instead of sending individual commands every few hours, Declared Configuration sends the complete desired state at once.

This is a huge step forward for latency issues in Intune.

@merill Solved a permission (potential) issue for identity lifecycle workfloflw to read via Graph employee leaved date time pushed by Workday (HR Driven JML) , so that powershell script could pick it up for automation (hybrid worker) . That attribute is protected due to privacy.

@coreteks I'm gradually shifting from such kind of creators , to a more Home Lab content (proxmox, truenas, opnsense, etc...) since there is more honesty from them . Sure, not gaming related tech (more professional content) , but the technicality are entertaining and not exploitative
