@Daboys_22@FantasyPros Huge mistake for me. The guy after me drafted Harold Fannin.
Funny enough, he dropped him two weeks later. I picked him up and dropped Pitts…
@KySportsRadio I know it probably won’t happen, but…
Can you imagine what it would do for the program to win this one? Probably speed program progression up by a year or two. Huge game.
@MeManBoy0@jp10152333 For sure, but how much of that was Pope versus the guys he brought in/retained?
Year 1 those problems weren’t really there. That said, I’m not excusing last year, but with a completely new team in a mercenary NIL era, I’m hoping last year was just a blip and not a trend.
@MeManBoy0@jp10152333 Not to mention, last years team needed a healthy Jayden Quaintance and Jaland Lowe to work. Hard to argue “Pope failed” when the team was so inherently flawed.
@InsideGamecocks It’s possible. Y’all generate plenty of yards of offense and have some legitimate studs on defense. The problem is that the whole is less than the sum of the parts.
@wadecrazie@RodgersBeliever@CFBKings My point is that the “SEC bias” only applies to certain teams, which, I would also argue applies to Big10 teams and Notre Dame.
It’s more a big school thing, less a conference thing, and Kentucky being screwed this week left me a bit pissed off.
@bordeauxyt They got screwed.
I suspect that it’s AP voters way of depriving Kiffin of a ranked road win, but I’m freaking tired of all the other conferences whining about “SEC bias” when an SEC team just got screwed in broad daylight.
@PeteNakos How the hell is SMU ranked? Loss to craptastic Louisville and ZERO ranked wins.
Also, Houston? Plays one ranked team, loses, and almost loses to UCF.
The anti-Kentucky bias is alive and well.
@CFBKings@RexCirclehead Let’s reframe this:
Kentucky lost one game to the team you consider as the “best” in college football, beat A&M on the road, and then beat a very motivated South Carolina team, probably ending Shane Beamer’s tenure there in the process.
Yet, “haven’t done anything?”
