Compliant privacy.
Is it a good-enough compromise for the greater good, or a complicated component?
Read @damian_straszak's post and share your thoughts – from a technical, ideological, or any other perspective.
Private defi won’t win by trying to compete head-on with public defi. Its path to success is in new use cases that are unlocked by privacy.
Public defi today is dominated by traders, yield farmers, degens, and bots. They require fast execution speed and low transaction costs. No privacy-preserving stack built on zk/mpc/fhe is going to outperform existing protocols on those parameters anytime soon.
Current meta is interoperability. Public and private DeFi complementing each other to cover different parts of the workflow.
- Zcash started bridging into public defi
- @Blanksquare_io's Shielded Yield goes a step further, by letting users enter public yield protocols while keeping receipts private.
- Kohaku initiative is looking to make it easy for mainstream wallets to integrate shielded pools, simplifying technical integration and setting standards for user experince
But this still isn’t a fully private ecosystem. Networks like Maiden and Aztec may bring a paradigm shift on the scale of Ethereum introducing smart contracts a decade ago.-
Programmable privacy could enable entirely new classes of protocols that rely on private state and sensitive data, but are more relaxed about cost and execution speed. I'm really curious to see how this ecosystem will look like once we go beyond thinking of "private Uniswap" or "private Aave".
Easy privacy is here. And it fits in your pocket.
Real-time shielding, shielded yield, fast UX.
All waiting for you in the mobile early access.
Here's how to get inside, and what happens when you do.
Privacy made easy – now for @ethereum!
We have just launched the web app on Ethereum, so you can shield ETH and other ERC-20 tokens. Fast and without headaches.
Here's what you can do with it already and what's next.
"I have nothing to hide" is a brain-dead take. Privacy isn't about having something to hide, it's about having a life you don't want others to exploit. And thinking that financial data is some sort of exception here is just next-level stupid.
It's raining privacy.
In the last few days I've spoken @zama@Blanksquare_io@inconetwork https://t.co/WMVamxSNY6
Who else is building privacy on Ethereum I should know about?
Anyone in stealth feel free to DM me.
Blanksquare web app is now live! https://t.co/bqz3HGbtm3
Experience ZK privacy that actually works for users — shield your assets in seconds, break transaction traceability, withdraw to fresh accounts.
This isn't just another privacy tool. It's proof that our SDK can power the next generation of privacy-enhanced dApps. 👇
You don't need to know how an internal combustion engine works to drive a car.
You don't need to understand zero-knowledge proofs to use DeFi privately.
With AI, scanning blockchains for address data becomes easier with each release.
Grok can already uncover significant address details.
What will it achieve in the coming months and years?
Stay private today, so you don't have to worry tomorrow. 🔲

GPT Agents just dropped. Soon similar tools will digest every on-chain move that isn’t cryptographically protected, connect dots humans miss, and reason over entire transaction histories. Think unfair competitive intel, personal profiling, even blackmail. Privacy isn’t a niche feature anymore, it’s survival tech for blockchains.
Transparency is great for trust, but public ledgers expose user data like nothing before. We need shielded pools that protect everyday users while still thwarting illicit behavior. Accountability + privacy = mass adoption.
