Yesterday, @feinforauditor and I drafted a letter which was signed onto by members of the LBC, requesting that CDTA increase the frequency of buses running on the number 10 line during peak commuting times. This is a quality of life issue to enable residents get to work on time.

We are currently experiencing a power outage in the Pine Hills Neighborhood. I have spoken with National Grid and found there are currently five wires down due to fallen trees and about 1800 people affected.
The estimated time for power to be back on is 11PM. Please be safe!

The College of Saint Rose has been at the top of my agenda since mid 2024. Yesterday, I joined my legislative colleagues for a tour of some of the buildings that are now county owned. I look forward to continuing the work with other county leaders for better use of the facilities

Today, I joined with Governor Kathy Hochul as she announced the new ON-RAMP program, a $200 million investment in workforce hubs that will provide training in tech skills as well as hands-on training in advanced manufacturing industries. I am proud to say that we will be hosting one of these hubs at the former College of Saint Rose Campus, focusing on the unemployed and underemployed in the Capital Region’s core cities of Albany, Schenectady and Troy. I look forward to working alongside Governor Hochul, community leaders, local businesses, and our residents as we look to unlock the full potential of this campus.

Trump ordered a pause to Federal Grants. Nonprofit organizations do not have the luxury of waiting for a while before receiving funding. These organizations had to go through a whole lot of paperwork to get approved for funding and now they have to prove they need to be funded🤔

My just concluded interview with ABC News Channel 10 on the Pine Hills Land Authority winning the bid for the College of Saint Rose Campus and the next step forward. Winning the bid is a great step towards ensuring that we preserve our vibrant neighborhood. #Forward #Albany
