Capital punishment can be just in extreme circumstances if necessary to protect the common good, but not in modern America. The Bible does not mandate capital punishment in America. To argue God demands the death penalty today in America is not biblical.

He was functioning as a church officer calling her to repent, not functioning as a civil authority to admin justice.

No punishment can be given to the woman without also punishing the man.
