@EllyClutchxo Yeah, that's what I understand. It's sad, I wasn't even able to find one this year from a performer I like. The only ones we're from Europe, and weren't shipping to the US at the time.
@nirbheek There was an east German glass company that invented glassware that pretty much didn't break. They went out of business because no one came back to buy more. Capitalism requires things to fail over time.
In 2012 my brother had a ridiculous idea that YouTube videos could be not just educational, but they coul dbe created specifically as a tool for teachers and students.
Not only would that maybe be popular (he argued to me) it would also just be good for the world.
@nirbheek This would have been great depression, right? Most banks went out of business, so maybe that knowledge was lost? Also, the government heavily subsidized farms during WW2, so that may have broken the cycle.
