@emollick Agreed, I don’t even think it’s just bots per se as much as being lazy about writing. I reckon lots of people are just copying and pasting from their LLM
@emollick The point of ChatGPT Work is to mainstream agents. Codex is coder-coded, no way around that. ChatGPT is for everyone. The branding is confusing to anyone who uses Codex, but I think the bet is that ChatGPT Work is a more intuitive onramp to agents for everyone else.
Seems like the idea of taste here is equivalent to fresh or original thinking, but that doesn’t feel right to me. Good artists copy, great artists steal, right? To me, it’s more about horizontal thinking: calling to mind the right mix of previous patterns to present context—and I think this is something AI will get good at before long
@krispuckett Ironically, being a good manager is the core skill needed to be an effective builder post-AI. Your judgment, ability to set clear direction, scope achievable tasks, and close the loop w/ clear feedback determines the quality of what agents produce on your behalf.
