STEALING POSTS IS NOT COOL.
I’m not gonna name names, but I found out that a big account (6x my size) saw my Kaito post on why some viral posts get 0 yaps and straight-up copied it. Not inspired by. Not remixed. Copied.
This happens way too often. Some big accounts don’t even need to try. They have the reach, the numbers, the audience. They know they can post whatever and still get engagement.
So instead of putting in the work, they just take.
Smaller accounts? We don’t have that luxury. We have to go the extra mile. Craft better hooks, make content more engaging. And even then, sometimes a great post barely reaches 100 views.
UNTIL… some big account finds it, rewords it, and posts it as their own. And suddenly, the post that should have blown up finally does—just with someone else’s name on it.
I’m all for inspiration. That’s what X is for. But stealing content prevents smaller creators from growing. You’re not just taking their words, you’re taking away their opportunity.
So if you see a viral post, just know: the real author might be sitting on 10 likes, wondering why their work went unnoticed.
