I added more threads IT MADE THE PROGRAM SLOWER.

4.21M → 0.93M requests/sec
p99 latency: 0.207 μs → 356 μs

32 threads. One shared Token Bucket. One mutex.

I have a theory :

To oversimplify
When u tap normally the device waits a bit to make sure it's not a swipe or a hold..

But maybe the ads skip that check somehow creating this effect which feels faster

I can be entirely wrong but that's the closest I can get to the explanation
