It is simply stupefying that during a time of surging electricity prices from existing demand, we'd build out endless AI data centers before building out more power infrastructure.
My gas tank bill is starting to look like a grocery bill and my grocery bill is starting to look like a Costco bill and my Costco bill is starting to look like a mortgage payment and I don’t know how people are affording to live right now.
@DiehlsaSteph In every moment we have the choice to be cruel or kind - and often the cruelty comes from something hurt inside of us. If everyone spent a little more time healing inward … the world would be a completely different place.
A gentleman of a certain age whom I know will always stand at table when a woman arrives to sit down. If she is going to be seated next to him, he will stand behind her chair and touch the chair as if to push it in. It’s not a grandiose gesture but a gentle one, habitual rather than performative. Observing this unfold in several cases, it is obviously appreciated by the woman every time.
What does this small ritual imply? Does it suggest that the woman needs help sitting down? Not at all. It is an act of deference by the man toward the woman, a small recognition that extra respect is owed to the woman. This is a small means by which the power between the two sexes is equalized, the man giving of his strength and power to the protection and care of the supersex.

Don’t let someone’s worst moment
make you forget they are made in God’s image too.
God didn’t stop loving you at your lowest. Don’t forget that when someone else falls short. They still reflect His image, so let’s reflect His love.
Earlier this year, a major study linked pesticides to higher rates of brain cancer in kids.
Now the U.S. gov't is trying to shield pesticide companies with near-total immunity from lawsuits.
We marched against Monsanto a decade ago—now they're striking back, & MAHA is silent.
