@stupidcrapface@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL What was illegal? It was the proper entrance, during open hours, they were not threatening or violent, and they have First Amendment rights.
@2incite_insight@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL Trying to talk to the acting Secretary about a important service is not unproductive. The D of Ed does not control your school curriculum - your state does that. But it gets funding for special ed, grants, Title 1, FAFSA, where kids gets college finacial aid and more.
@JeffD1016@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL The building was open and they were at the proper entrance that they usually go through. On j6, otoh, the building was not open to the public, and yes, they can do that. Public buildings have open hours and security restrictions.
@MickeyJamison@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL It was the “All Access” door and the building was open. All of the people had gone through that same entrance before, so it was the proper entrance. But none of them were allowed in.
@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL Members of congress REPRESENT their constituents, as they pointed out. So it’s one person speaking for hundreds of thousands. I never heard for what reason they would be locked out.
You can take a tour of the Capitol when it’s open for such. It was not open for tours on J6.
@anon2176@MaxwellFrostFL They aren’t just a bunch of people. These are members of Congress. And yes, they have the right to go in.
On J6, ALL of the Members of Congress were ALREADY inside. It was only the public who were not allowed in while Congress was in session.
@chuckheard2@ByronDonalds@elonmusk An agency is not a person but is run by many people. If some people in the agency are doing wrong but the overall MISSION of the agency is a good cause, then doesn’t it make more sense to just root out wrongdoers but keep the agency? You know, the baby and the bathwater thing.
@chuckheard2@ByronDonalds@elonmusk He was an individual, not an organization.
An executive at a hospital embezzles millions dollars over several years. Do we fire everyone AND close the hospital? Or just prosecute the exec?
@wncfour4@RepTomSuozzi Seems more idiotic to NOT care about confidential data being handed over to Musk, who invested HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to the campaign for trump.
@BigDaddynBeanz @RepTomSuozzi It’s about not trusting the people who are investigating. Can you imagine if Dems controlled the entire govt and then sent a team headed by George Soros to investigate fraud, who then only found GOP wrongdoers. Would you trust it?
@The_Arcanaut@RepTomSuozzi@0liviajulianna What “you people” have done. And this is the issue. It will every bit come out as Dem misuse. No MAGA Republican will be implicated for anything. And they can say ANYTHING they want and just claim that it came from the audit. It’s like Hunter’s laptop all over again.
@DonnaCattolica@DemocraticWins If it was an independent non-partisan audit I wouldn’t mind. But this is Trump’s #1 biggest donor and sidekick. You can bet that NO MAGA Republicans will be implicated.
@chuckheard2@ByronDonalds@elonmusk Why should we have to WONDER what the President’s top donor billionaire buddy MIGHT do with our data? He simply should not have access. If George Soros did that and all of a sudden the “data” was suppossedly only finding GOP wrongdoing, would you trust that?
@Publius_7_1776 @TheRealTebow3 @mcuban@elonmusk@DOGE Power. Yes, that he is power and attention grabbing. He has done similar in his business dealings. I was okay when he ran a business that had no effect on me. He stepped over a line.
@Publius_7_1776 @TheRealTebow3 @mcuban@elonmusk@DOGE You think I think Elon’s on the computers? No. But WHO is controlling the message? It is not unbiased, there’s NO oversight.
@DonnaCattolica@DemocraticWins So part of MAGA is scoffing at the numbers and that MAGA would have had way more, while other MAGA are scoffing at there being so many people who are not at work. Too few or too many?
@TheRealTebow3 @mcuban@elonmusk@DOGE You mean, what could be more transparent than Trump’s biggest campaign donor and right-hand man looking only for anything that could appear to implicate their opponents?
