I really hate the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid the way he did.

He was under the covering of that Real Madrid/Florentino Perez influence against UEFA/FIFA.

Remember what Sepp Blatter said about Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo said it was disrespectful and then went on to score a hattrick in his next game with a commander salute celebration dig at Blatter. Blatter had to later apologized.

Messi was their beloved but that Real Madrid backing was important for Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s one of the reasons Real Madrid had issues with Uefa even before the Vini Ballon D’or saga. The moment Cristiano Ronaldo left he lost it & that covering was taken off immediately, that’s what won Modric his Ballon D’or.

There are a lot of silent benefits you get when you put on that Real Madrid shirt, it’s not just about the money, comes with attention, presence, that name REAL MADRID, commands respect and unforced favors & when hate comes in, they know how to protect their players from it.
