13/ the saddest part about this is I was a huge Coinbase fan, now I'm completely powerless to the error that their system caused, there's nothing I can do, and they really don't seem to care...it's funny how many other companies would bend over backwards to make this right...@coinbase can do whatever they want with you money and we are just at their mercy?

12/ I offered to help fix this (I’m a blockchain dev). Steps: store consolidation_job_id + base_tx_hash; watchdog + timeout; if tx FAILS or no confirm by N blocks → set FAILED, run compensation, clear “consolidating” lock; add stale-state reconciler + support “force reconcile”.
