Not a prophet, not a guy. But some of you listened when you thought I was. ;) Not tweeting to change the church — just to let survivors know they’re sane.
If you’re a new follower, I’d like to take a second to explain my name.
Up until this week, I went by Nameless Faceless Prophet— a reference to the “nameless faceless generation” prophecy by Paul Cain that was used to manipulate and exploit many at the International House of Prayer. I wanted something symbolic of the way so many of us were coming back to call the leaders who spoke that over us to account.
It was also a personal reference—I was outlining my own right to speak up, because Paul Cain, the predator “prophet” who coined the term was also instrumental in enabling my abuse as a child.
For a long time, I posted with a male avatar and handle —@realprophetguy—as a bit of a jab at sexism in the church and the willingness to unquestioningly accept self proclaimed prophets. But eventually I found my voice and tell my own story. And when I did, I wanted to do it as my full self.
So if you’re new, my name is Susan. I’m not a prophet, and not a guy. I’m just someone who has lived under the weight of both spiritual and sexual abuse. So I care. 🫶🏻

This is my friend.
This is also what love looks like:
Solidarity. Speaking Truth to power. Looking out for our neighbors, even if our bodies pay a cost.
Be obedient to love above all else.
Christian pals, remember that for many former Christians who are now atheists, leaving Christianity was like getting a divorce from someone we wanted to stay with, but just could no longer trust.
The “You just wanted to sin” line is your dogmatic blinders doing their thing.🙏
@MBurtwrites Just to be safe, I’m encouraging all women to stop cooking, because what if it reminds a man that Jesus is the bread of life? Basically a sermon.
And honestly, no women should do laundry — that’s basically sharing how Jesus takes filthy rags and makes them clean.
Trump doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's essentially a mob boss and that he viewd the machinery of government as nothing more than a tool to his corrupt ends.

This is wildly false, and it breeds a dangerous level of ignorance and wishful thinking in the American public. We'd have to make some hard choices (including making some very tough trade-offs) to come close to balancing the budget. Saying anything else is irresponsible.
@KhalR17@jkbjournalist@MilesTaylorUSA@MalcolmNance I mean…outing a victim’s abuse without consent is a massive violation and deeply traumatizing. Also puts them at risk. I don’t really know that that would be ethical.
@ArtGuy313578051@KaeleyT I mean….
Unless you believe that you’re sent to hell if you commit suicide.
The other thing is, it’s not necessarily because they are married to Christian men. They may simply have better community, find strength in their faith, etc.
@theoctobear@AQuartermain@BanjoAtheist Important information is already covered.
This is about stopping the embarrassment — and it’s likely gonna get ruled unconstitutional (and should.)

@theoctobear@AQuartermain@BanjoAtheist Nah, it’s an intentional chilling effect. “Confidential” is defined so broadly that it practically covers everything unclassified.
If the director of the FBI is drunk out of his mind in any administration, I want to know.
The government is accountable to us, we elected them.
I’ve never pastored a church. Couldn’t pay me a jillion dollars to. Never been ordained. Have no desire to. The only paid staff position I’ve ever held in a church was as an aerobics teacher in our church gym. But how in heaven’s name a woman discussing a sermon on a podcast could be objectionable to some is beyond me and what I believe to be beyond scripture. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, good. Stay sane. If you do, I’ve lived a long time and this has been my observation:
Extremism, whether in conservatism or liberalism, whether in politics or religion, is never satisfied. It will always inch a little bit further. It’s a constant test of the purists.
