@HenrysGhost89@justicedems@HamawyForNJ No, Justice Dems never endorsed Mejia. Bernie Sanders, OurRevolution, AOC and WFP did so you may be thinking of that.
@James7684030931@IAPolls2022 California has a top 2 primary system, if Saikat gets second place it doesn’t matter if Chan is in or not, Saikat goes to the general election.
@Maxah9k@GovDukakis@PpollingNumbers That is true but Emerson’s poll has Steyer at 14% not Swalwell. This poll was fielded after Swalwell dropped out and resigned from Congress.
@TrackAIPAC@AOC@trackcaseyk I love how this green banner shows the policies they support. That information is very important to me. Can you also add this same information to all existing green banners as well as your red banners for clarity?
@JaneJesteadt@ChristieH60@GregCasar I believe he said “Biden failed us on the border and immigration”, which I would agree with as a Democrat. If we aren’t allowed to criticize Dems, that feels quite cultish.
@realCWhitehouse@LauraRBelin They are basically both the same candidate in terms of policy. Turek is battle tested because he overperformed Trump by 14 points in a red seat. Turek/Wahls both support public option for Medicare, they both reject all corporate PAC money, they both go after the top 1%
@lydiabackagain@NewsWire_US Because the idea behind it is that it doesn’t activate/trigger until it reaches 270 EVs, and that’s the amount you need to win the presidency. Currently, there are 209 EVs (excluding Virginia since Spanberger hasn’t signed it into law yet) in the pact
@lydiabackagain@NewsWire_US You need to read up on Popular Vote Compact, it awards electoral college votes to national popular vote winner and the law triggers when enough states enter it that it reaches 270 EV votes, making the EC irrelevant. Hillary would’ve won in 2016 and Trump would’ve won in 2024.
