I often reply to others, but don't reply to their replies.
Some have asked me - why? Don't you want to change minds?
To them, I ask - when is the last time someone ever changed their mind after an X debate?
I don't offer conversations, I offer refined perspectives.
@NeoAndTrinity_@AL_J82 Sola Scriptura is not a biblical doctrine in the first place, it's self-refuting, so that argument holds no weight here. It is one pillar of a manmade religion that has elevated the scriptures in a disordered way in order to escape the earthly accountability Christ set in place.
@Sacramentshow Simply and charitably put, they believe in a lesser form of the faith. Legally, Christians. But they sit in an awkward place in relation to Christ, as it is difficult to truly love and follow Christ while harboring latent animosity towards His Mother because you hate Catholics.
@ZubyMusic I've always believed that "middle age" defines the 20-30 years that sit right in the middle of your lifespan. If you die at 60, your middle age started between 30-40. If you die at 100, your middle age was between 40-60.
@David_Kicinski Lmao no serious Christian theologian claims there's any absolute proof of God's existence. But every "atheist" I've ever met claims to have absolute proof of the contrary
@_Hehehehe_____@Abunajohn And why do you think it is that Rome was allowed to flourish so rapidly, while the Orthodox were aggressively suppressed and essentially tortured for decades by multiple satanic regimes?
@Megamom1985@Abunajohn The pride and vitriol oozes from your words.
Perhaps this is the kind of mentality that has kept so many lay Orthodox out of heaven.
@Abunajohn@Fred_Constantin I took the liberty of looking into your story and history within the Orthodox church. I find you to be a good example for all apostolic Christians to follow.
As for this person "Fred" saying foolish things about Irenaeos, if only you knew what actually happened. If only.
@PhotiosOfGA@Abunajohn This is a great example of the sin of public detraction. I am surprised that Fr. John did not choose to admonish you for this, being that you are under his authority as a publicly Orthodox Christian.
@Abunajohn I imagine there must be Orthodox lay saints in the last 200 years, there has to be!
I am curious; is your position that it appears there are none, or is it that the Orthodox church at large has not pursued lay canonizations as aggressively as Rome?
@AugustusYizzard@countmaculad God does prefer the TLM, and if you disagree, you genuinely don't understand the substance of the differences between TLM and NO.
NO is a licit Mass, if done strictly according to V2. But it almost never is.
TLM allows no room for elective reinterpretation.
@JordanBVide0s@countmaculad You mock what you don't understand, and it's actually a condemnation of your own piety.
The "trads" you point and laugh at for prioritizing pleasing God over all else, and work to reunite lukewarm Catholics with Christ, experience a fear of God that you have yet to feel.
