Liv created her own little asteroid…
So we made sure she has one in the sky too.

A real asteroid.
A lasting legacy.
Nothing else attached.

Elon is very sweet to answer Liv’s questions and to honor her in this way 🤍
I am fortunate enough to have my very own SpaceX mascot, Asteroid.
Designed with love by Liv Perrotto and it’s a reminder that with passion and love, anything is possible! ✨
Whatever the mainstream media wants you to believe about Elon, this is the truth: he's changing people's lives for the better.
Liv Perrotto was 15 years old. Her biggest dream was to meet Elon.
She had 8 questions ready. She got the chance to speak with him, but was too tired to continue. She passed away from cancer days later.
Elon answered all 8 of her questions anyway.
He confirmed he's visited Japan multiple times, including Kyoto and teamLab. He shared what anime has inspired him. He showed up for a girl who never got to hear his voice again.
Her mother shared the exchange publicly.
This is the part they won't cover.
Everyone knows I cry a lot. So it probably doesn’t mean much when I say I cried the entire time while telling this story on the air today.
But when you hear about this little girl’s fight with cancer, and the lengths @NASAAdmin Jared Isaacman and @elonmusk went to to make her dreams come true before she passed, you’ll probably cry, too.
At 15 years old, Liv Perrotto’s biggest dream was to meet @elonmusk. She had even written out a list of questions to ask him. Her mother @rebeccaperrotto told me that just days before she passed away from cancer, she had a chance to speak with Elon, but she was too tired and asked him to call later. The questions still sit on her nightstand, unanswered. Liv's mother shared them with me in hopes that Elon would change that today.

7) Was Ani inspired from Misa from Death Note?
8) Can you make Asteroid (the Shiba Inu zero-g indicator she designed for the Polaris Dawn mission) the mascot for SpaceX?
We met as strangers in the bleachers at the Artemis II launch, and hugged and cried together. Today, the world gets to hear about her brave daughter, Liv, and the quiet generosity of two famous rocket men.
