@Acerola_t @ReavesNoLimit @snapherantlers X is a genuinely difficult place to have a discussion; I find myself less pessimistic towards AI tooling, but I'm definitely less experienced, less smart, and not in the gamedev space. I wish it were easier to hear your perspective at length. Maybe I ought to write my questions.

@marcportermagee I’ve lost friends over having a relatively positive opinion of AI, so the divide isn’t surprising. The majority seem to despise it.

@cunha_tristan @Lib_Development dude, in Paris they have programs to get six year olds to bike themselves to school. my boomer family biked at young ages freely to school decades ago.

@vivian39_ @PresterJohnEsq people die on the hill of teacher unions, meanwhile in my real world several of my friends at my public high school had mentally unwell unstable teachers that failed to teach anything but couldn’t be fired and the school let go really good teachers during budget cuts instead
