A2: At Columbian, we have a “rest & relax” station for students to go to when they need a minute. Rethink Ed is also a great tool to help students work though emotions. #OTLProud
A7: In my former district, we used Google Classroom, and one of my early blunders with tech was learning the importance of “making a copy for each student” so that each student wasn’t collaborating on the same doc or slide. #tldeuno2022
This reminds me of 2022 and as an elementary librarian, I had to go to the classrooms to teach. Every room seemed to have a different set up with different projectors and connections. Lots of learning on the fly. #tldeuno2022
A7: Too many times to count!! For sure switching from using Zoom all the time to having to use Teams with at home learning was interesting…you just have to take a deep breath and adapt. #tldeuno2022
A6: Right now, I’m going to have to go with https://t.co/dbwi4WrA6P, it is a quiz platform with gaming added in. The kids love it and always want to play. It is a great way to practice terms. #tldeuno2022
A3: When considering technology, it’s most important to determine if it will enhance or improve learning. It might be worth skipping the tech if it's only a substitution. #tldeuno2022
Yes, reading the room and checking in with individual students is important. When a student is acting out, it is important to find the why behind the what. #tldeuno2022
I haven't used any tools yet to monitor social-emotional well being - as a practicum student I haven't had a lot of opportunity. have simply 'read the room' and have helped individuals out as needed. #TLDEUNO2022
A2: Not a lot honestly. I use Go Noodle some times and Thumbs up check-ins but this is an area I want to be more aware of and let flow into all of my lessons #tldeuno2022
