@MattSmethurst @between2worlds Private/agency adoption is expensive but there are so many trained people who are doing birth parent counseling, supporting adoptive parents, managing paperwork, making phone calls in the middle of the night on behalf of cases, etc. -I say this as an adoptive parent and worker

@MattSmethurst @between2worlds I agree but also it’s not FREE for FC; someone is paying for hours of counseling, case management and paperwork, training, court appearances. A lot of people are involved in every adoption or child custody situation.
