@EBasilion Yes, it’s a catch-all diagnosis for maladaptive and dysfunctional behaviours, most of which can be worked on and improved. Cluster B’s often blame their poor behaviour on ‘ADHD’ and it’s complete bullshit.
@xluljoey Being racist isn’t low IQ. Poor impulse control, an inability to regulate one’s emotions, and a tendency towards violence are signs of low IQ. The ‘racism is low IQ’ argument has been to create fear around noticing and pointing out racial differences.
@TheWhackyPaki@EBasilion Those are the worst case scenarios because the denial runs so deep. Men like this believe they like and respect women, when in fact, they actually despise them. And this deeply buried disdain plays out in their life repeatedly, resulting in many terrible, abusive relationships.
@aimeeterese I don’t know why this is so difficult for people to learn. If people treat you poorly, it’s because you let them. Raise your standards and you will be treated accordingly.
@humdrummer@aimeeterese 💯 I’ve gotten to the point I can detect a Cluster B fairly quickly. Instinct and pattern recognition tell me when I’m in the presence of someone who’s phony and dishonest. How I feel around them is enough data. I don’t need more.
@aimeeterese@Realdonmiller Yup, there are men who are attracted to and seek out borderline women because borderline women are promiscuous, have poor boundaries, and low standards. BPD women are easy pickings for losers and predators.
@DeanAbbott Simple, solid counsel like this is what we need more of. There’s too much over-examining the reasons for our bad habits these days. Recognizing patterns and taking ownership is all that’s required most of the time.
@DisaffectedPod When we were young people knew what was appropriate to wear and what suited your body. If you were overweight and out of shape you did your best to conceal it - not flaunt it! Now people have no shame. No dignity. No standards. It’s a sad state of affairs.
@libriscent One doesn’t have to have been infallible for ghosting to be wrong. Most friendships/relationships go through ups and downs. People sometimes hurt one another and make mistakes, but this rarely represents the entire relationship. Most times, talking it out is better than ghosting.
@TruthSeek01011 You’re saying the government is conducting a study on how to murder its citizens? lol. You should provide the link. I’d like to see this.
