Should Victor Wembanyama’s interaction with Jalen Brunson in the first quarter of Game 3 be upgraded to a flagrant foul?
NBA Senior VP, Head of Development and Training Referee Operations Monty McCutchen spoke on the play on NBA Today:
This is the criteria for Flagrant Fouls Penalties 1 & 2, respectively. The NBA decided that the Wembanyama push was NEITHER of these. Let that sink in for a second.
Anyone else remember when they spent a decade warning us that misinformation was an existential threat to democracy, then handed us AI chatbots that generate unlimited misinformation on demand?
Funny how the "misinformation crisis" suddenly became a business model instead of a danger.
Quick reality check…
We gotta stop calling them "data centers."
We need to start calling them what they really are: "mass surveillance facilities" designed to funnel 99.7% of us into a digital prison long before 2030 gets here.
“If you want a living wage, get a better job” is a fascinating way to spin “I acknowledge that your current job needs to be done, but I think whomever does that job deserves to be in poverty.”
This is disgusting behaviour from Google.
It is using its monopoly power to try to force creatives to let it train on their work.
It is career suicide for artists not to upload to YouTube. Arguing that doing so allows Google to train AI on their videos/music - AI that competes with them - is outrageous. Whatever the Ts & Cs say.
HARD RULE: Everything Anthropic says is marketing bullshit.
This is nonsense. They absolutely can’t slow down or they will die. This is a cover story for the models slowing down all by themselves.
They have stolen all the data there is to steal. It’s diminishing returns now.
seriously how much more evidence do people need that this isn’t for the kids. It’s so freaking blatant kids are being used to implement surveillance and censorship.
I love that every Amazon worker testifying in favor of Seattle's data center moratorium starts by saying they are grateful that it is illegal for their employer to retaliate against them for their public comment
LeBron James wrote the blueprint for exceeding expectations.

Jokic got a flagrant 2/ejection after this play on the ball in the 2021 playoffs
Wemby slams Brunson down by the neck and gets... nothing.
The refs weren't afraid to put superstars in their place back then and set a precedent. If they don't buckle down and call things against Wemby, things can get ugly in this series.
The NBA doesn't want him suspended because it's the finals. Too bad. Rules are rules. Play fair.
Brunson is a bigger man than most of us. Because that was just ONE example of dirty/unfair plays.
The Knicks will win this series, and they'll win it ethically.
To recap:
- Dem and Rep operatives spend the week setting the narrative that Graham Platner is a predator
- Pro-Israel NYT runs a story on Graham Platner
- Done by a pro-Israel reporter
- No SA allegation
- They talk to 6 exes. 3 say he was fine.
- 2 of the remainder say he drank and womanized
- The last is a Conservative activist who protected Brett Kavanaugh
- She claims Platner trapped her in a room
- The NYT reads her diaries, texts, Google Chats, and Facebook messages. Nothing corroborates her story.
- NYT finds a text from the accuser saying she "Would personally campaign for Susan Collins."
This is the most obvious Zionist smear campaign in history.
