@Catholicizm1 Unpopular opinion but although I believe that the TLM is an objectively better liturgy, it doesn’t make sense to have two liturgies within the same rite. I wish that the TLM was the sole liturgy of the Latin rite, but if the leaders decide the NO is it, that’s within their power

@Catholicizm1 I was given a day of fasting as a penance for a sin that I couldn’t kick. I’ve yet to fall into that sin again and it’s been 11 years. Thank God for that Priest. I absolutely hate fasting……..

@Catholicizm1 My first instinct would be hell no; however, maybe an act of love, accompanied with words of encouragement for his reversion, would help his repentance more than the cutting off of the inheritance. I don’t envy the person who has to make that decision.
