Interviewed A Muslim prison leaver for @RecordOfOurOwn. Possibly the most emotional interview so far. The interviewee spoke of how she was afraid to ask for support generally in prison but moreso in #COVID19 due to the thriving culture of racism amongst prisoners & many staff.

Today’s shout-out to @HMP_Brixton and @HMP_Woodhill for their excellent cooperation with us on this campaign. Both prisons advertised our campaign & gave the prisoners chance to submit their stories on the impact of Covid-19. We’ve 23 written submissions directly from prisoners!

Troubling how inequalities & disparities further play out for those already in vulnerable situations.#BAME families of prisoners who were excited about the re-opening of prison visits have contacted us upset that due to the lockdown & infection rates in #Bradford visits are off.
