Receipts cannot be recycled!
This is because most are made with thermal paper which contains the chemical, BPA. Not only will this contaminate the recycling stream but it can also be harmful to your health.
Instead, toss in the trash, and next time skip the slip!
When it comes to recycling paper, it’s important to know which type of paper products are not accepted in the recycling bin.
Receipts are one of those paper items that cannot be recycled!

♻️ We're thrilled to support @recyclebuffalo in expanding #recycling access at multifamily units. When convenient access is combined with direct-to-resident education & outreach, it supports local jobs & keeps valuable #recyclables out of the landfill. https://t.co/8iuZY5c4Jf
All in hopes to improve the quantity and quality of recyclables collected from multi-tenant locations.
